Zoning Permit Process

FYI: For a building permit and inspections, you will need to contact the Delaware County Building Dept. Below is an outline of the process to obtain a zoning permit in Concord Township. Complete a Zoning Permit Application (link below) and attach the following: (updated 03/2018)   One plot site plan on letter/legal sized paper (8½ x 11 or 8½ x 14) showing the name and address of the property owner and all property dimensions and setbacks of structures. One set of floor plans on letter/legal sized paper (8½ x 11 or 8½ x 14) showing floor plans of all finished living area, plus garages and covered porches, decks, carports, accessory buildings, etc. Plans and plot plan to have same orientation. One copy of Health Permit if using on-site sewage treatment. One copy of Driveway Permit from the Delaware County Engineer's Office. Check made payable to "Concord Township" or currency according to the Zoning Fee Schedule (below). Zoning Certificate is good for one (1) year issue date. All new commercial structures require a sign-off from the Concord Township Fire Department.
